Leshan Vocational and Technical College, founded in 2002, is a state-owned public full-time higher vocational college. North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (Hereafter called NCWU) was founded in 1951. Established in 2002 with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People’s government, Chengdu Agricultural College (CAC) was the first vocational college sponsored by the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government. The college originated from the Sichuan Wenjiang Agricultural School, a national key vocational school founded in 1958. As the only government-funded agricultural vocational college in Sichuan Province, China, CAC has been recognized as a National Top-quality Vocational College by the Ministry of Education and a National Top-quality College for Rural Revitalization Talent Training Programme by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
