Chinese Government Scholarship (中国政府奖学金)

Chinese Government Scholarships (including tuition, accommodation, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance) are provided by the China Scholarship Council to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years. 

Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship (四川省外国留学生政府奖学金)

The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years. 

Bachelor: 20,000 RMB/year

Master: 25,000 RMB/year

PhD: 30,000 RMB/year 

Chengdu Municipal “Belt and Road” Government Scholarship (成都市“一带一路”留学生政府奖学金)

For undergraduate and postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates from countries participating in the ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative.  

The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years. 

Bachelor: 20,000 RMB/year

Master: 25,000 RMB/year

PhD: 30,000 RMB/year

Chengdu Municipal International Sister City Scholarship (成都市国际友城奖学金)

For undergraduate and postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates who are studying in one of Chengdu’s sister cities. The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years. 

Bacherlor: 20,000RMB/year

Master: 25,000 RMB/year

PhD: 30,000 RMB/year

Confucius Institute Scholarship 

Launched by the Confucius Institute in 2009 to promote Chinese Language and cultural exchange, the full or partial scholarship is open to students from the world. 

Requirements: 

• A citizen of a country other than China and in good health

• Aged between 16-35

• Completed high school or above, bachelor’s degree, its equivalent or higher

• HSK score is requested

SWPU Scholarship (“留学西南”奖学金)

This scholarship is open to all students are studying at or awaiting study at Southwest Petroleum University. The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years.

Bachelor: 

- Type A: 8,000 RMB/year

- Type B: 5,000 RMB/year

- Type C: 2,000 RMB/year

Master: 

- Type A: 12,000 RMB/year

- Type B: 8,000 RMB/year

- Type C: 5,000 RMB/year

PhD: 

- Type A: 20,000 RMB/year

- Type B: 12,000 RMB/year

- Type C: 6,000 RMB/year

Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) Scholarship 

This scholarship is open to all students are studying at or awaiting study at Sichuan Agricultural University. The awarding period for undergraduates shall not normally exceed 4 academic years, and for postgraduate and doctoral candidates shall not exceed 3 academic years. Every scholarship student is eligible for 10,000 RMB off their tuition/year, and additionally are financially rewarded depending on their performance.
