Sichuan Engineering Technical College was established in 1959 and is organized by the Sichuan Provincial Government. Its enrollment targets are high school graduates and secondary vocational college graduates, and the school level is junior college. The school is located in Deyang City, Sichuan Province - China's major technical equipment manufacturing base, the United Nations International Demonstration City for Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing, and the Sanxingdui site, more than 40 kilometers away from the provincial capital Chengdu. The campus covers an area of 1,257 acres, with more than 13,000 full-time students and nearly 1,400 faculty and staff. The school currently offers 39 majors, involving mechanical design and manufacturing, industrial automation and informatization, materials engineering technology (metal), information technology, civil construction, transportation, finance and commerce, education and sports, tourism art and other fields. Among them, welding technology, casting technology, heat treatment technology, quality inspection technology, CNC processing technology, digital design and manufacturing, additive manufacturing technology, electrical automation technology, and industrial robots are national key majors, and new energy vehicle technology, power electronics technology, Tourism and management are key majors in Sichuan Province.
