Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic (CAP) was founded in 1965. It is situated in Chengdu, the city with a cultural history over one thousand years old, also known as “The Land of Abundance”. CAP is a full-time college directly under the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and is one of the first 28 demonstration colleges among the 1,300 higher vocational and technical colleges nationwide.

The school provides apartments(a flat with two bedrooms and a living room)with air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine and 24-hour hot water supply. Students can choose one or two rooms. The cost of a single room is 720 yuan per person per month, and that of a double room is 360 yuan per person per month.
