1.Profile

    Sichuan University is located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural capital city of Sichuan Province, known as the land of abundance.

    Sichuan University insists on opening-up and continuously promotes international exchanges and cooperation. At the moment, it has established exchange, cooperation and relationship with 306 internationally renowned universities and research institutions in 38 countries/regions, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

*Language proficiency Requirements for non-native English speakers only :

a) TOEFL(iBT) score(≥80)/IELTS score(≥6.0)

b) The highest degree courses are taught in English shall only provide a certificate proving the language of teaching is English.

• Chinese/English personal statement(applicants for programs taught in English must write the statement in English);the statement must include the following:personal introduction,the reason for application,knowledge about target major,the future learning plan)--for undergraduate programs

• Chinese/English learning and research plans(applicants for programs taught in in English must write their own learning plan in English;the learning plan must include the following:personal introduction,the reason for application,knowledge about the target major,the future learning plan,etc.)--for postgraduate programs 

• Research plan and two English/Chinese recommendation letters from associate professors or above for Master/PhD application.--for postgraduate programs

• Honor&award certificate or other supporting materials

4.Charges (CNY / Academic year) 

1）Tuition(depends on majors): 

• 17,500-45,000for Bachelor students; 

• 22,000-50,000 for Master students;

• 26,000-60,000 for PhD students

2）Accommodation fee: The student dormitory charge standard shall be subject to the implementation standard of each campus

• Insurance Fee: 800

• Registration Fee: 600

5.Scholarships：

The scholarship program will be implemented in accordance with the specific implementation measures published by Sichuan University

Tips：

If students are unable to travel to China due to the Covid-19 pandemic, online courses（taught in Chinese/English） will be offered.Chinese online courses are offered based on class size.
