A Journey of Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage with Tie-dye

Date:2021-02-02

Wang Ximei (Duangsamorn Wattanapathitiwong, Thailand), a PhD candidate in the College of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University, is an overseas video blogger and a veteran panda fan. She came to Zigong, Sichuan, and experienced a fun time of panda tie-dye.

It was very intimate before the experience, because tie-dye is also done in Thailand, but in a different way.

Under the guidance of Chang Lixian, the national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, Ximei designed and completed a very cute tie-dye panda.

"You can not learn well by books only, you have to do it yourself." Ximei said, only by this can we get a different experience.

Now she also wants to go to more places in China and learn more about Chinese culture. Finally, she recorded the whole process of her tie-dye experience, hoping that all her friends and fans can feel the charm of Sichuan intangible cultural heritage tie-dye together, and become an envoy of China-Thailand exchanges.
